Identity, creative direction, and editorial design for an international magazine focusing on contemporary fine art in the Americas.
 
 
 
 
Three times a year, written in two languages, TRANS> attempted to subvert rigid codes and to encourage unexpected dialogues. By featuring artists who were willing to bind their work into our magazine we made the work of artists such as Mike Kelly and Tony Oursler accessible to those who otherwise couldn’t afford contemporary art.
 
As part of an effort to bring fine art to a wider audience, my business partner and I teamed up with a publisher to create Trans > magazine. We co-designed the rubber magazine purse below with Karim Rashid. It, along with our magazine, was featured in MOMA in NYC.
